As a personal note, I would have never guessed that in my lifetime Iowa would vote for Obama. Having lived there, my memories, though few, pegged the state as being red beyond the ability to change.

Provisional ballots
The biggest problem Democratic volunteers are facing today is provisional ballots.
For those who don't know provisonal ballots are what you fill out when they can't find your name on the roster.
According to the Democratic office in Riverside, apparently, today people who have lived in districts there entire lives are being told that their names aren't on the list.
Several districts are reporting provisional ballots in the 50s and 60s.
The concern us that if Obama wins California by a landslide they won't count provisionals and that will impact congressional races and propositions.
We will continue to keep track of this developing story.
